A Spanish Adventure.

It’s all about Spain.

On Monday we discussed the end of term inquiry,  planning an educational trip to Spain. We discussed options and approaches to this inquiry. We also talked about why we are approaching the inquiry in this way.

This inquiry is designed to create a purposeful approach to learning about Spain by using knowledge of Spain to create an exciting educational trip. This task will  involve: Practical organisational skills, reading, working with maps, timetables, questioning, budgeting, money conversions, time and a range of internet research skills.
I am really interested in how students work through this task.

This morning before school a couple of students were talking about their homework in relation to what they are doing. I was fascinated to hear them discussing, that you can’t fly directly to Spain. I also overheard that day one would be taken up with travel and that there is a time difference. This sort of discussion is exactly what I want to hear.

Student's discuss consideration needed when traveling to Spain.
