Olympics – Inquiry Unit

The Big Idea for this term is: Student’s will understand that one person’s contributions and leadership can make a difference, with a focus on the Olympics)

Yesterday we started our inquiry with an investigation.

The Big Question being:

The Olympics is not just about sport.

The students brainstormed, wrote notes, used the internet and discussed the above statement.

A huge range of answers, statements and opinions were shared.

We continued this afternoon by organising and presenting our ideas. After extensive brainstorming and research we revisited the question, looking closely at our ideas. We finished off by deciding on the top five things that represent what the Olympics are all about.
