Sustainable Food Options


‘Food Miles’ is a term that refers to the distance food is transported from the time of its production until it reaches the consumer.  
Food Miles is just one factor used when assessing the environmental impact of food.

Today we explored food miles as well as a range of other environment factors involved in the transporting and production of food, from the time the ingredients are sourced to the table.
I am looking forward to continuing tomorrow, as well as sharing and discussing.
